OBO 1984 AMF Alcort Sunfish

This AMF Alcort Sunfish sailboat has a fiberglass hull and an LOA of 13.83 feet (length over all). The boat has a 41 inch beam. This sailboat is set up to sail as a Lateen. The craft has 75 square feet of sail area. Displacement for the boat is 129 lbs. The draft of this sailboat is approximately 2'6". (For those brand new to sailing, draft is important to remember since you can run aground if you venture into waters which are too shallow.) The sail is less than 4 years old and in great condition. The color of the sail is pink, purple, blue, sea-foam and white. This summer I did a fiberglass repair to the hull. The hull is now in fantastic condition and is ready to sail. I sailed it all summer long. The boat comes with a brand new cover that was purchased this summer. The cover has a spar tail for the mast and the boom. It has a grey sail bag for the poles and the sail. Two life jackets are also included. The rudder and daggerboard are original, and therefore a bit weathered, but they still work great on the lake. I will be willing to drive it to your house for $50 extra as long as it is within reasonable distance.This is a fantastic deal for only $800. Normally I would sell this package for around $1300.
